WOW!!! See.. I told you mega super STAR!!!  I'll encourage ANY music fan.. to go see her in concert! Her show.. well its the best that I've ever been to! Extremely entertaining and well thought out.. its geared towards the fans and Carrie Underwood makes it very personal. She talks to the crowd, interacts with the crowd, and gets as close to her fans as she can. Her last stop here in Fort Wayne, she had and old truck that was obviously built for the show.. that was suspended from wires about 10 feet above the crowd that she climbed in the back so she could get close to the entire crowd... that even included the folks in the back. 

She is a class act ... but also the sweet down to earth girl from next door!  

Dillin Diehm (Future Pro - Leaguer)

Dillin is a very talented young baseball player. From what I hear he already being looked at by scouts and has been the star in an article in Fort Wayne's local newspaper. Of course, being an avid sports fan.. this was an extremely enjoyable shoot for me. Not only do I watch for the perfect picture, but also for the perfect play. And trust me when I say this, with Dillin its not hard to wait for the perfect play. The kid is good... I don't know his stats, however I do know he works hard, is in great shape, and knows his stuff. 

I am hoping this isn't the last that I see of Dillin behind my lens!

Oh, and Dillin, if you read this ...remember: "You've got to be very careful if you don't know where you are going because you might not get there." - Yogi Berra

The Broken Road - David & Nicole

 If it were up to me, I would shine a light on their story and share it with the world. Okay, so maybe with this blog I am sharing it with the world.. but its a short story that the world should hear! I was given the privilege to photograph .. the beginning of their lives together. 

You know, sometimes in life things don't happen when we want them to, and when they do happen... sometimes they don't work out.  But do I believe that it doesn't work out for a reason? YES!! I'm not going to spill the beans about anything personal, but these two have had their share of relationship trials and tribulations (with others). Disappointments and broken hearts...  and both probably never thought they would find that person that just totally completes them. To me... finding LOVE ... real LOVE is like winning a million bucks! 

When I think about David & Nicole .. one song really stands out to me, 'Bless the Broken Road' by Rascal Flatts.
